Ingredients

  • 4 firm but ripe bananas
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
  • 3 large egg whites
  • ½ cup cake flour
  • 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate

    • 4 tablespoons butter
    • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
    • Bittersweet Chocolate Sauce
    • Nonstick vegetable oil spray
    • 1 ounce bittersweet (not unsweetened) or semisweet chocolate
    • Nonstick vegetable oil spray
    • 1 ½ cups whipping cream
    • ¼ cup sugar
    • 12 ounces good-quality white chocolate (such as Lindt or Baker's)

Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray 9-inch-diameter springform pan with 2 3/4-inch-high sides with nonstick spray. Dust pan with flour.
