Ingredients

  • Nonstick vegetable oil spray
  • 1 ounce bittersweet (not unsweetened) or semisweet chocolate
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate
  • Nonstick vegetable oil spray
  • ½ cup cake flour
  • ¼ cup sugar

    • Bittersweet Chocolate Sauce
    • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
    • 12 ounces good-quality white chocolate (such as Lindt or Baker's)
    • 1 ½ cups whipping cream
    • ¾ cup sugar
    • 2 large eggs
    • 4 firm but ripe bananas
    • 3 large egg whites
    • 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
