Ingredients

  • 9-½ oz. (2 cups plus 2 Tbs.) unbleached all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • ½ lb. (1 cup) unsalted butter, softened at room temperature
  • ½ tsp. table salt
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup plus 2 Tbs. very firmly packed light brown sugar
  • ½ tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • + 3 more ingredients
    • 9 oz. bittersweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
    • 2-½ oz. milk chocolate, coarsely chopped
    • 2 large eggs
