Chocolate-Dipped Hazelnut Shortbread Hearts
Ingredients
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into pieces
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup chopped hazelnuts, peeled and lightly toasted, plus extra for sprinkling, if desired*
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
- 10 ounce dark chocolate, finely chopped**
