  • 1 cup packed dark brown sugar
  • 3-½ oz. (about ¾ cup) coarsely chopped pecans
  • 6 oz. (¾ cup) unsalted butter, slightly softened
  • 9 oz. (1-½ cups) semisweet chocolate chunks
  • ½ tsp. table salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 8-½ oz. (1-¾ cups) all-purpose flour
  • + 4 more ingredients
    • ½ cup granulated sugar
    • ½ tsp. baking soda
    • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
    • 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
