  • 4 large egg whites
  • 1 cup superfine sugar
  • 8 chocolate wafers, ground fine (about 1/3 cup)
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 4 ounces fine-quality bittersweet chocolate (not unsweetened), chopped
