Chocolate Midgets

Ingredients

• ½ teaspoon baking powder
• 1 cup chocolate syrup
• 4 eggs, beaten
• 2 cups chopped pecans
• 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour, divided
• 1 ½ cups sugar
• 1 cup butter or margarine

Combine sugar, 1 cup flour, and baking powder; mix well and set aside. Combine butter and chocolate syrup in a heavy saucepan; bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and cool.
