  • 2/3 cup(s) extra-strong black coffee
  • 4 eggs (large), separated
  • 1 ½ cup(s) sugar, divided
  • 2 cup(s) heavy cream

Melt chocolate in top of double boiler. When close to being melted, add coffee and stir together. Remove from heat. In separate bowl, beat 3 egg yolks and 1 cup sugar, mixing well.
