Ingredients

  • 1 cup cake flour (not self-rising)
  • 6 large eggs
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup hazelnuts
  • ¼ teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup water

    • 2 tablespoons Grand Marnier or other orange-flavored liqueur
    • 1 1/3 cups sweet orange marmalade
    • 1 pinch cream of tartar
    • ¾ cup sugar
