Ingredients

  • ½ teaspoon potato starch
  • a 9-to 9 ½-inch (24 centimeter) spring-form pan; a coffee/spice grinder
  • 1 cup blanched almonds
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons potato starch
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • Sliced strawberries

    • 1/3 cup matzoh cake meal
    • Vegetable oil
    • 1/3 cup sugar
    • 5 large eggs
    • ¼ cup sliced almonds preferably with skin
    • 2/3 cup coconut milk
    • 8 ounces fine quality bittersweet chocolate
    • ½ cup sugar

Preheat oven to 350°F with rack positioned in middle. Grease spring-form pan and line bottom and sides with parchment (greasing pan will help parchment stick).
