Chocolate Truffles 6
- 6 ounce(s) semisweet chocolate
- 1 tablespoon(s) rum or brandy (I use a little more)
- 3 slightly beaten egg yolks
- 3 tablespoon(s) butter
- ¼ cup(s) sifted confectioners sugar
Melt 6 squares of chocolate with sugar and 3 T. butter in double boiler over hot but not boiling water. Remove from heat. Stir small amount of mixture into 3 slightly beaten egg yolks; return to hot mixture, stirring well. Blend in 1 T. rum or brandy. Chill, without stirring, for 1 to 2 hours. S...
