Chocolate-Whiskey Soufflé Tarts

Ingredients

  • 1 ¼ teaspoons instant coffee crystals
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 ½ cups all purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 Pinch salt
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
  • + 6 more ingredients
    • Chocolate shavings
    • 4 large eggs
    • 10 ounces bittersweet (not unsweetened) or semisweet chocolate
    • ¼ cup Irish whiskey
    • ¾ cup unsalted butter
    • Sweetened whipped cream

Preheat oven to 350°F. Blend all ingredients in processor just until dough gathers together. Shape dough into log. Cut into 8 equal rounds.
