Choucroute Tumble

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup white wine
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 3 (16-ounce) jars sauerkraut, drained
  • ½ cup water
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 1 teaspoon sweet red paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • + 2 more ingredients
    • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
    • 1 large onion, cut into wedges

Place onion in a lightly greased roasting pan or 13- x 9-inch baking pan. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes or until tender.Add sauerkraut and next 6 ingredients, stirring until well blended.
