Chow Chow II

Ingredients

  • 4 cups white sugar
  • 8 cups green tomatoes, chopped
  • 5 green bell peppers, chopped
  • 4 cups chopped onions
  • 3 cups fresh corn kernels
  • 3 cups fresh lima beans, shelled
  • 1 large head cauliflower, separated into florets
  • + 7 more ingredients
    • 3 quarts cider vinegar
    • 1 tablespoon ground turmeric
    • 2 tablespoons ground mustard
    • 2 tablespoons mustard seed
    • 2 tablespoons celery seed
    • ½ cup salt
    • 8 cups fresh green beans

1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add green beans, cauliflower, lima beans, and corn. Cook for 5 to 8 minutes or just until tender; drain.
