Cinnamon, Brown Sugar, and Walnut Shortbread Crescents

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup golden brown sugar
  • 16 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 ounces bittersweet (not unsweetened) or semisweet chocolate
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Whisk first 3 ingredients in medium bowl to blend. Using electric mixer, beat butter and brown sugar in large bowl to blend well. Add dry ingredients; beat just until dough forms clumps.
