Ingredients

• ¾ cup whipping cream
• ½ cup sugar, divided
• 1 tablespoon baking powder
• 1 large egg
• 3 ¼ cups vegetable oil, divided
• ½ teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
