Citrus Sauce for Angel Food Cake


  • 1 cup(s) Sugar
  • ½ cup(s) orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon(s) lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoon(s) lemon peel
  • 8 ounce(s) Cool Whip
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten

Combine orange juice, egg and sugar together in saucepan. Cook over medium heat for 10 to 15 min. bringing it to a full boil. It should thicken up a little also. Remove from heat and cool completely.
