Ingredients

  • 6 slices dead-ripe tomato
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 8 oz. 90% lean ground sirloin
  • 1-½ lb. 80% lean ground chuck
  • Kosher salt
  • 6 iceberg or romaine lettuce leaves
  • 6 good-quality hamburger buns
  • + 2 more ingredients
    • Condiments of your choice
    • 3 Tbs. unsalted butter, at room temperature
