  • 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • 1-½ tsp. baking powder
  • 4 oz. (½ cup) unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup firmly packed sweetened shredded coconut
  • 10-1/8 oz. (2-¼ cups) unbleached all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup semisweet mini chocolate chips
  • 2 large eggs, at room temperature

    • ¼ tsp. table salt
    • ¾ cup firmly packed light brown sugar
