  • 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract

  • 3 egg yolks, beaten
  • 1 1/3 cups shredded coconut
  • 1 1/8 cups evaporated milk
  • 2 ¼ cups milk
  • 4 teaspoons all-purpose flour
  • + 4 more ingredients
    • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
    • ½ teaspoon salt
    • 2/3 cup white sugar
    • 1 (9 inch) pie crust, baked

1. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, salt, cornstarch, and flour. Gradually stir in milk, evaporated milk, and coconut. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil.
