Cold Cantaloupe Soup


  • 1 ½ cups orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 medium cantaloupes, halved and seeded
  • Fresh mint sprigs (optional)
  • 1 ½ cups Sauterne or other sweet white wine
  • ¼ cup lime juice

Scoop out cantaloupe balls with a small melon bailer to equal 2 cups; set aside.
