Corn Cake with Dried Cranberries

Ingredients

• Salt
• 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
• Softened unsalted butter and maple syrup, for serving
• 3 tablespoons (packed) light brown sugar
• ¾ cup milk
• 1 large egg, lightly beaten
• 1 cup all-purpose flour
