Cornmeal Cake with Black Cherry Compote

Ingredients

  • 5 tablespoons sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • Black Cherry Compote
  • 1 cup yellow cornmeal
  • Yellow cornmeal
  • 2 cups fresh goat's milk or whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
