Cornmeal Cake with Sweet Rosemary Syrup and Blackberries

Ingredients

  • 1 stick (½ cup) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup yellow cornmeal
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • ¾ tsp. salt
  • 2 large eggs
