Cornmeal Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup(s) cornmeal
  • ½ cup(s) sugar
  • 1 teaspoon(s) Salt
  • ½ cup(s) shortening/butter/margarine
  • 4 cup(s) flour
  • 2 cup(s) milk
  • 2 Eggs
  • + 2 more ingredients
    • 1 package(s) yeast (1 T.)
    • ¼ cup(s) lukewarm water

Combine cornmeal, sugar,salt, shortening and milk in double boiler.** Cook until thick, stirring often. Cool to lukewarm-add eggs and yeast (dissolved in the 1/4 cup water). Beat well.
