Cornmeal Rolls

Ingredients

  • 2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup yellow cornmeal
  • 1 pinch sugar
  • 1 1/4-ounce package active dry yeast
  • caraway seeds
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 teaspoons coarse salt
  • + 2 more ingredients
    • 1 ¼ cups water
    • 2 coarse salt

In the bowl of an electric mixer proof the yeast with the sugar in 1/4 cup of the water for 10 minutes, or until the mixture is foamy.
