Ingredients

  • 1 c self rising flour
  • 1 lg egg
  • ¼ c buttermilk
  • 2 tsp coarse salt
  • 2 tsp fresh ground pepper
  • 1 pkg round steak, cut into quarters (4), beat with meat tenderizer
  • ¼ c vegetable oil
  • + 3 more ingredients
    • 1 tsp onion powder
    • ½ c sweet onion
    • 3 c water
