Country Ham Carbonara

Ingredients

  • 1 (9-oz.) package refrigerated fettuccine
  • ¾ cup chopped country ham
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 shallots, thinly sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, pressed
  • 2 pasteurized egg yolks
  • ½ cup (2 oz.) freshly shredded Parmesan cheese
  • + 3 more ingredients
    • 3 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
    • 3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
    • ½ teaspoon freshly cracked pepper
