  • ¼ cup hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon celery seeds
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons kosher salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 12 live blue crabs
  • + 1 more ingredients
    • 2 bay leaves

1. Combine first 5 ingredients and 1 gallon water in a large stockpot over high heat. Bring to a rolling boil. Add crabs, and cook 4 to 5 minutes or until bright orange-red.
