Cranberry Pecan Christmas Scones

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • ¼ cup chopped pecans
  • ½ cup dried sweetened cranberries (or Craisins)
  • 1 cup cold butter, chopped into small pieces
  • + 4 more ingredients
    • ½ teaspoon nutmeg
    • ¼ cup sugar
    • 2 ¼ teaspoons baking powder
    • 3 ½ cups flour

1 Combine first four ingredients in a large bowl; cut in butter with a pastry blender until mixture is crumbly.
