Cranberry-Port Relish

Ingredients

• 2 cups port or other sweet red wine
• 3 whole cloves
• 1 (12-ounce) bag fresh or frozen cranberries
• 1 bay leaf
• 1 medium orange
• ½ cup sugar

Carefully remove rind from orange using a vegetable peeler, making sure not to get any of the white pithy part of the rind. Combine orange rind, port, bay leaf, and cloves in a medium saucepan.
