Cranberry-Stuffed French Toast

Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 tablespoons cranberry sauce (any kind)
  • 4 1-inch-thick diagonal slices Italian or French bread
  • ½ cup milk
  • pure maple syrup
  • confectioners' sugar
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
