Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Homemade Baking Powder
  • ¾ cup half and half
  • 12 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 ½ cups bleached all purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon coarse kosher salt
  • 1½ cups heavy whipping cream

Position 1 rack in top third and 1 rack in bottom third of oven and preheat to 450°F. Combine 41/2 cups flour, baking powder, and salt in large bowl; whisk to blend.
