Creamy Corn with Chives


  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh chives
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • ¼ cup finely chopped onion
  • Pinch of sugar (optional)
  • ¾ teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
