Creamy Feta Potatoes


  • 2 T unsalted butter
  • 4 c finely diced yellow onion
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 8 oz Greek feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 ¼ c heavy cream
  • 1 c whole milk
  • ½ t salt
  • + 3 more ingredients
    • 2 lb (about 3 large) russet potatoes, peeled and covered with water
    • Freshly ground black pepper
    • ½ c fresh homemade breadcrumbs
