Creamy Lemon Bars

Ingredients

  • 7 tablespoons Cold Butter, Cut Into 1 Tablespoon Sized Chunks
  • ¾ teaspoons Lemon Zest, Preferably From Organic Lemons
  • 1/3 cup Almonds
  • 1 ¼ cup Whole Wheat Pastry Flour or All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/3 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 pinch Sea Salt
  • 4 whole Eggs
  • + 7 more ingredients
    • 2 whole Egg Yolks
    • 2 cups Granulated Sugar
    • 1/3 cup Whole Wheat Pastry Flour or All-Purpose
    • 2 tablespoons Water (For tarter bars use Lemon Juice.)
    • ¾ cup Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
    • 2 tablespoons Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
    • ¾ cup Powdered Sugar, Sifted For Dusting
