Creamy Lemon Pasta with Vegetables

  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 cups half-and-half, warmed
  • 2 pounds trimmed asparagus
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 pints cherry tomatoes, halved
  • + 4 more ingredients
    • Zest and juice from 4 lemons
    • 2 teaspoons pepper
    • 24 ounces fusilli pasta

Warm olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Slowly whisk in warmed half-and-half, zest and juice from 4 lemons, salt and pepper.
