Creamy Pea Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 bay leaf
  • fresh celery leaves
  • ½ cup chopped carrots
  • + 4 more ingredients
    • ½ cup chopped shallots
    • 1 ham bone
    • 8 cups water
    • 2 ½ cups dried split peas

1. Place split peas, water, ham bone, shallots, carrots, celery leaves, bay leaf, salt, garlic and pepper into a large pot. Heat to almost boiling.
