Creamy Scalloped Potatoes 2

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup(s) instant milk
  • 2 tablespoon(s) margarine or butter
  • ¼ cup(s) flour
  • 2 cup(s) skim milk
  • ½ teaspoon(s) Salt
  • ½ teaspoon(s) pepper
  • 2 ounce(s) Pimento
  • + 3 more ingredients
    • 2 pound(s) potatoes, peeled and sliced thin
    • 1 Onion, sliced thin (medium)
    • 1 cup(s) shredded cheddar cheese (low fat)

Prepare white sauce. Melt margarine. Over low heat, whisk in flour, skim milk and instant milk. Add salt, pepper and pimento. Layer potatoes and onion in lightly greased baking dish. Cover and bake at 350 for 1 hour. When potatoes test tender, garnish with shredded cheese. Return to oven to melt.
