Creme Brulee 18


  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1 pint(s) cream
  • ½ cup(s) brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon(s) vanilla

Beat egg yolks, add vanilla. Boil cream 1 min. Pour slowly over eggs. Strain into double boiler and heat to boiling point, stirring carefully. Place in baking dish and cool. When cold sprinkle sugar on top and put under broiler intil a crust is formed. Chill. Top with strawberries or other fruit.
