  • 2 cup(s) heavy or light cream, or half-and-half
  • 1 vanilla bean, split lengthwise, or 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (or vanilla hazelnut)
  • 5 egg yolks
  • ½ cup(s) sugar, more for topping
