  • 1 ½ tablespoons Grand Marnier or other orange liqueur
  • 2 ½ teaspoons grated orange peel
  • 2/3 cup whole milk
  • 1 1/3 cups whipping cream
  • ½ cup plus 6 teaspoons sugar
  • 6 large egg yolks
