Ingredients

  • Pinch salt
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ vanilla bean or 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 3 egg yolks
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • + 1 more ingredients
    • 1 cup sugar

Heat the oven to 325°F. Heat the cream and milk in a medium saucepan over medium heat until scalded (you'll see small bubbles on the sides of the pan).
