Crostini with Blue Cheese, Honey, and Hazelnuts
- 12 1/3-inch-thick diagonal baguette slices
- 3 ounces blue cheese (such as Gorgonzola , Roquefort , or Maytag blue), room temperature
- ½ cup hazelnuts, toasted, husked
- , coarsely chopped
1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Place baguette slices in single layer on baking sheet. Toast in oven until golden, about 8 minutes. (Can be made 4 hours ahead.) 2. Spread blue cheese on baguette slices. Sprinkle hazelnuts over each. Drizzle each slice lightly with honey.
