Crushed-Blueberry Sauce


  • 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon finely grated lemon peel
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2/3 cup (packed) golden brown sugar
  • 3 cups fresh blueberries or frozen

Combine 11/2 cups blueberries and all remaining ingredients in medium saucepan. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves and mixture comes to simmer, about 7 minutes.
