Cucumber and Onion Salad 3


  • 6 cup(s) cucumbers, unpeeled, scored, and sliced paper thin
  • 2 onions, sliced very thin
  • 1 cup(s) water
  • 1 cup(s) vinegar
  • 1/8 cup(s) coarse salt
  • 1 ½ cup(s) sugar

Mix the water, vinegar, salt, and sugar in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Cool slightly and pour over the cucumbers and onions. Refrigerate...this keeps for months!
