Cumin-Rubbed Tuna with Roasted Jalapeño Tartar Sauce

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 4 tuna steaks, about 1-½ inches thick (6 to 8 oz. each)
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 Tbs. fresh lime juice
  • 4 Tbs. vegetable oil
  • 1 Tbs. ground cumin
  • + 3 more ingredients
    • Kosher salt
    • 3 medium jalapeño chiles
    • ¼ cup thinly sliced scallions, both white and green parts (from about 4 scallions)
