Ingredients

  • ½ teaspoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons shallot
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 6 ounces slab bacon
  • 1 large egg

    • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
    • 2 ½ tablespoons Sherry vinegar
    • 8 ounces soft mild goat cheese
    • 3 17- by 12-inch sheets phyllo dough
    • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
    • 1 muffin tin with 6 (1/2- or 1/3-cup) muffin cups
    • 1 ½ pounds dandelion greens
    • 3 tablespoons heavy cream
