Ingredients

  • ¼ cup ginger
  • ½ cup molasses (not robust or blackstrap)
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • ½ cup packed dark brown sugar

    • 1/8 teaspoon ground allspice
    • 1 Bosc pear
    • whipped cream
    • 1 teaspoon baking soda
    • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
    • ¼ teaspoon salt
