Ingredients

  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¾ cup unsalted almonds
  • 2 tablespoons flaxseed
  • 2 large egg whites
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2/3 cup dark chocolate chips (such as Hershey's)

    • 1/3 cup packed dark brown sugar
    • ¼ teaspoon salt
    • 9.5 ounces whole-wheat flour (about 2 cups)
