Deep South Barbecue Sauce
Ingredients
- ¼ teaspoon liquid smoke
- Hot sauce to taste
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
- ¾ cup chili sauce
- 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
- ½ teaspoon salt
- + 7 more ingredients

- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- ¼ cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon celery seeds
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 cup catsup
- 1 ½ cups water
Sauté garlic in butter in a medium saucepan. Combine remaining ingredients; mix well. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, 15 minutes, stirring occasionally .
