  • ¾ cup blanched slivered almonds
  • 2 cups whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons grappa or brandy
  • 1 10.75-ounce loaf pound cake
  • ½ cup hazelnuts

    • 5 ounces semisweet chocolate
    • 2 tablespoons orange liqueur
